The most common tip I give freelancers is to:
1. Learn something
2. Record what you've learned and teach it to others in your own way
3. Repeat
This shows your growing skills and your confidence to teach

i have some time today to help people. Want a 30 minute session with me to look over a project your working on or just need a positivity boost? DM me.
"vibe coding" and calling yourself a dev without actually knowing the fundamentals of code is just like barely reaching space for 10 minutes and saying you're an astronaut who did science.
Starting another project for a new client. That One Couple is doing fun things for fun clients.
I mean, just look at this color palette. You'd never think that this is for a Chief Security Officer.
omg i'm cleaning up a webflow project that i handed off to a client years ago. then they hired an SEO team to update their site.
now they came back asking me to fix what they broke.
here's a little taste of my monday.

We sent flowers to our client before we launch their site today and we got this note back. πβ€οΈπβ€οΈ
So we can't control the sort order of items in a nested collection list in
@webflow
still?
Anyone got a workaround for this rather than telling my client to manually reorder all 72 books that she's written? π«
The rollercoaster of freelance continues. Lost a client, but it gives me more time to start working on ways to do something creative to find the next one.

sure people want to flex that they get $$$$$$ MRR, but how many can flex that they have a healthy, mentally balanced, loving relationship with their partners, children and themselves.

meeting then livestream to finish up the first dev pass for Sabrina Jeffries website.
Just got approval from my client. I'll be streaming my build process for this new site. I'll post a link to the stream later today.
this is true. no one is perfect. but, when i see a client saying "i can't update text in this FAQ accordion" and has to ask me to update the text, i feel so bad for them that I have to rebuild it the right way.
The true life of a low-code developer is:
20% learning
20% executing
10% client education
50% cleaning up the previous developers crap
Look at it this way. You dodged a bad client who would have given you more headaches than a great project.
Hang in there, friend. β€οΈ
Just noticed this button for webflow apps.
Nice ππ½
To my fellow freelancers. Don't forget to give yourself grace β€οΈ
Don't expect yourself to be 100% everyday. Life happens. If you or a family member gets sick, they are your first priority.
Work, your diet plan, your fitness routine can wait. Just get back on it when you're ready
Ya'll need to click this button. You know it's saved you so many clicks and time in your projects.
