I have always considered reflection to be an important piece of learning, but often placed it at the end of large learning experiences. These are not skills that should be held off until the end. These are ongoing in the process of inquiry. Thank you, Jessica Vance!

Harry Davis, joined us in the xR Studio to share his personal experience of the Detroit riots of 1967 to a student documentary. Part 2 of Running of the Bulls lesson invited our MS mathematicians to #DCDSTheStudios. We virtually visited Spain to join the bulls on their path to the arena while calculatingng d=r•t
To collect data on themselves, we went to our indoor field house. Lots of excitement, joy, and math!
How far of a head start would I need to outrun a dog that was chasing me? This question lead Ms. Nash’s math class in an investigation in estimation, dependent and independent variables, and graphing coordinates. Ms. Nash prioritizes collaboration and values each learner’s thinking.
What an eventful beginning of the week! The xR Studios 2.9mm volume came down to make room for our INFiLED 1.9mm pixel pitch volume. Our new wall resolution is 4096x1280! Can’t wait for students to come back from break to continue storytelling and creating content in #DCDSTheStudios
