A pic of me holding The Color of Time by Millie Abecassis, against a background of stars. The book cover pictures the story's heroine, Cyrelle, in one of her almost-impossible suits, with a snake casually wrapped around her shoulders (cover art by Alyssa Winans)

A rare moment captured on camera: me holding my amazing client @millieabecassis.com's extraordinary fairy tale-in-space, The Color of Time...it's my first time ever to hold a physical copy of a client book!

Celebrate with me, because this is very special and there will only ever be one first time 🎉

Indie book series with obviously AI covers = auto-block. Gen AI is just as bad for artists as it is for writers.

I have so many of your cartoons saved on my laptop, and often include one in my e-mails to agent and editor. They are loved.

For all the boosters who say "but AI can help us in science and medicine!"

*sigh*
If your Kickstarter video/image is AI, I won't back it.
If your book has an AI cover, I won't read it.
If you're a public supporter of AI use for creative work, I will unfollow you.
I cannot stress enough how offensive I find AI use in the arts. It is outright theft, it is lazy, it is gross.

This is Nessie and Millie. Neither of them ever really learned how to dig, but Millie is pretty sure it's like giving CPR. 12/10 no one tell her (TT: millieandazula)

Let me stop you right there. I don't give a damn what AI does. It will never impact the way I write. Ever. Nothing is less relevant to me than generative AI "writing" tendencies.
