🔔New publication from our colleague @brunoschoumaker.bsky.social & David Sanchez-Paez on the contribution of educational changes to #fertility declines in low-& middle-income countries.
🔎Their analysis reconstructs fertility trends by educational level in 72 countries using 414 surveys
"Reducing the duration of postpartum infecundability without offsetting it with an increase in contraceptive use leaves open the possibility of further fertility stalls or longer-lasting current stalls."
