A time of tremendous change in musical expression! I liked so much from every year.

You will have a great time ๐ค
The sea will be at its warmest then if you fancy a swim (but it still won't be warm!). I hope you enjoy the trip whatever the weather. And maybe you will have a wonderful hot September in Dublin. We talk about the weather a lot - with good reason. It can vary so much from one day to another ๐
Yes only a bit different as Berlin is firmly on the Continent and will be warmer in summer and colder in winter. Ireland is like the UK and has an island climate so is generally milder in winter but also wetter and not as hot in summer. Although the last few summers have been hot by our standards!
Am in Dorset, but Dublin is not so far. July and August can be particularly warm (for us) if it's not raining all the time ๐ That's also school holiday time/peak season. In 2012 there were two very warm days in September just as the holidays were over. The rest was a chilly washout. Good luck!
They're moving #TheArchers omnibus on a Sunday morning swap around with Desert Island Discs/The Reunion. So a new start at 11am - not sure when it's happening but it's happening.
I thought the same. Then they could grumble together over their halves for eternity (but we will never hear them) #TheArchers
If Ed gets past this muddy patch maybe he will give up, sell up and then he might be able to afford to retrain as a tree surgeon. Emma too. I think I can hear them sharpening up the sound effects #TheArchers
Tee hee
I love the mirror image!
'I am here you know' says Emma. But listening through headphones I think she's in a different sound environment/phoning it in/has her head in a crisp box.
#TheArchers
I mean of course #TheArchers. Happy New Year!
How weird the start of #thearchers omnibus felt. So last year!
Please tell me I'm not the only person who keeps typing 2924. Happy New Year! #2024
I'm glad and glad you have a place for them! Some of mine from last year self seeded already and they will always make me think of Sarah and that kind surprise from you all last year. โค๏ธ
You've made my day ๐
Debbie and Dr Locke...Phew! But it didn't work out between them. Last thing I remember is that she made fun of him from being from 'Oop North' and he didn't like it. #TheArchers
I can't remember the going of Dr Locke. There was always something between him and Debbie but it didn't work out did it? She made fun of him for being from oop North and he didn't like it. Yes, I liked him. He seems to have been reborn as Alan Franks but of course that's just my imagination.
I'd love to have heard his Jack Regan voice talking to the little 'uns. It is a lovely Christmas tale.
Ornamental cherry showing unseasonable pink blossom in December
Walked past this ornamental cherry in our street today. It's always the first to blossom but never before in December! #natuurliefhebber #nature ๐ฑ bloeitijd in december?
Thinking of Richard Locke - when Shula told her mother she was thinking of leaving Alistair for Richard, Jill condemned it just by saying in a quiet tone of moral outrage '...the doctor?' which left no doubt about her version of public opinion. #TheArchers
Something's brewing with Harry. I only hope it's not a slow road to a relapse for Alice - #TheArchers
I'm thinking that when Harry met Alice he was being a high-handed twerp. This second weirdness with Chris is clanging the warning bell again. What next? #TheArchers
'Marriage is not like a mortgage, Brian!' - thanks for putting my memory straight. #TheArchers
Traditi? Tradition ๐
Funny that I misremembered - I can just hear Jennifer saying it though I am sure Brian could have come up with it to comfort her. Of course by the time things went wrong between Chris and Alice they were all upset. I don't remember anyone saying haha that's over. #TheArchers
Helps get us through the January blues. By end Jan I'm
Good traditi
We have some lights around the window that stay up all year - not much used in summer but comforting when nights draw in.
We have the Dutch Sinterklaas festivities first! But that reaches a peak on the night of 5 December so we're still lagging. On the plus side we will keep the tree up until Candlemas (2 Feb) - if you don't take it down at the usual time this is also acceptable (according to the late Queen).
