Literally - Cass used the fact that children diagnosed as trans enough to be put on puberty blockers continued to be trans as they adolesced, as proof that puberty blockers were a problem. They were hoping more children at the service would stop being trans and looking for a means to make it happen.

forged in fire as a background activity is great for writing because best case you can see examples of forging techniques or think of ways to describe things and worst case you see the Worst Guy You've Ever Seen or you get bored and can play a game of "spot the egg" every episode or two without fail
