Update on Blanket No. 2 of #10Blanketsin2025 from the table in the break room. I am fully addicted, but this pattern is much harder as it's constantly changing each round. It's gorgeous though. Very pleased with myself!!

Isn't it gorgeous, it's kinda spongy!

The first pattern I chose is the wave stitch blanket, because of this quote from The Good Place: "Picture a wave in the ocean. You can see it, measure it - its height, the way the sunlight refracts as it passes through - and it's there, you can see it, and you know what it is, it's a wave..." 1/2
I will crochet 10 blankets for Ruby's 10th birthday year, and donate them for memory boxes. Ruby's blanket from her memory box kept her cuddled up cosy her whole life, and is very precious to us. I taught myself to crochet only a couple of months ago and this is my first project! #10blanketsin2025
April 2025 it will (somehow!) be 10 years since our firstborn daughter Ruby was born at 22 weeks, and passed away at 1 hour old. To mark this year I'm planning some fundraising and also some personal donations to FΓ©ileacΓ‘in and A Little Lifetime. I've started the first project, #10blanketsin2025.
Today in my role as an after-school carer, I accidentally inspired a Senior Infants child to draw a picture my bare foot squashing a slug (with oozing guts) as part of their actual homework. #rolemodel
