For April, I am almost done with All In by Billie Jean King and I’ve started Good Grief by @saraconfino.bsky.social. I’m also starting In The Event of Love by Courtney Kae. #booksky I’m right on track and should be ready in May to continue the Beyond the Bookends and Easy Reading Challenges.

I switched to The Culture and Recipes of India for the @bookriot.bsky.social Read Harder Challenge. I read, enjoyed, and reviewed Margery & Me by @marykabiaggio.bsky.social on @librarything.com.
I’m done with Code Dependent and The Bewitching by @silviamg.bsky.social. That means a cookbook called Falastin has to unexpectedly get read but I’m going to read Margery & Me by @marykabiaggio.bsky.social too!
I’m already intrigued by the blurb on the back!
I’ll be reading Margery & Me by @marykabiaggio.bsky.social as soon as I’m done with either Code Dependent or The Bewitching. This is an Early Reviewer book for @librarything.com that I review on Librarything, hence the name. A so called psychic versus Harry Houdini in the 1920s…who prevails?
I’m officially 1/2way thru The Bewitching by @silviamg.bsky.social. This is a good book but it’s definitely a medium to slow paced book. It’s also IMO a psychological horror gothic book. I’m definitely reading it for book challenges and not my own pleasure but I’m not sorry I’m reading it.
I haven’t managed to read tonight either after getting home which is weird. I’m not worried though. I have 2 chapters left on Code Dependent and enough time left in March to get The Bewitching by @silviamg.bsky.social done.
I used today to sleep and then see the play Murder On The Nile by Agatha Christie at 2 p.m. which was and was not what I was expecting. It was quite fascinating I must say. I then wandered until I found the closest thing to a honky tonk my town has. So I didn’t do any reading except at lunchtime.
I finished Every Time I Go On Vacation Someone Dies by @catherinemack.bsky.social.
I’m halfway through Code Dependent by Madhumita Murgia. I need to focus on The Bewitching by
@silviamg.bsky.social
since I have to finish it this month. #booksky I am putting my April books on hold already!
I’m done with Not Nothing by Gayle Forman & the Erle Stanley Gardner book. I’m now reading Code Dependent: Living in the Shadow of AI by Madhumita Murgia, The Bewitching by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, & Every Time I Go On Vacation, Someone Dies by Catherine Mack. #booksky I like switching between books.
So far, I have read 20 books and I’m reading an Erle Stanley Gardner book with multiple cases and Not Nothing by Gayle Forman. I’ll follow it with The Bewitching by Silvia Moreno-Garcia and thus be done with my March books.
I finished That Librarian by Amanda Jones, The King’s Ransom by Janet Evanovich, and then proceeded to close February with The Waiting by Michael Connelly. I had a nice February and #booksky I celebrated my Thingaversary of 19 years with @librarything.com on February 6th.
I’m up to date with the Easy Reading Challenge and the Beyond the Bookends Reading Challenge. I have my March books waiting at the library. I’m almost done with That Librarian by Amanda Jones for the BookRiot Read Harder Challenge. For pleasure, I will read The King’s Ransom by Janet Evanovich next.
I’ve read 193 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die list books! #booksky
I’ve read 16 books so far this year #booksky! Two of them, Catch-22 by Joseph Heller & The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins, are 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die list books. Nine of them, with Catch-22 as one of those I read, for @bookriot.bsky.social Read Harder Challenge. So far so good!
If you see this, post a rabbit.
The other books counted for the @bookriot.bsky.social Read Harder Challenge. I’m in the midst of reading a @librarything.com early reviewer book and more BookRiot challenge books. Anyway, I gotta sleep so good night!
The @bookriot.bsky.social Read Harder Challenge is 24 challenges to complete in 2026. The Easy Reading & Beyond the Bookends Challenges are fulfilling a challenge a month, so 12 each. #booksky I managed to make one book count for both January challenges: Anxious People by Fredrik Backman.
I finished 2025 strong #booksky! 128 books were read and the @bookriot.bsky.social, Easy Reading, & Beyond the Bookends Challenges were completed! Now it’s 2026 and I’ve read 4 books. I’ve boldly challenged myself to read 100 books this year while completing the same three challenges again.
I’ve read my November books! Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata and Pnin by Vladimir Nabokov. The second one is an 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die book and that makes it 189 books read!
If you want to be completely up to date on my reading challenges, @thestorygraph.com is where to go and I have the same screen name there. For instance, I decided to read another weird horror book besides Jane Slayre.
Hi #booksky! I’ve now read over 100 books this year but I’m still finishing book challenges. I have my November and December books to read for Easy Reading and Beyond the Bookends Reading Challenges. I’ve got two books left for the @bookriot.bsky.social Read Harder Challenge.
I’m now reading Cat in a Quicksilver Caper by Carole Nelson Douglas and Cane and Abe by James Grippando. The second book is my October book for the 2025 Easy Reading Challenge.
I’ve finished Downstate by @jefferydeaver.bsky.social and The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver.
I’ve finished Cat in a Hot Pink Pursuit by Carole Nelson Douglas and moved on to Cat in a Quicksilver Caper. I’m halfway through The Poisonwood Bible.
I’ve started on Downstate by @jefferydeaver.bsky.social so it’s that, Cat in a Hot Pink Pursuit by Carole Nelson Douglas, and The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. It’s that time of year for reading multiple books at the same time!
I'm sitting at the dentist without a book. This sucks.
The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver is book number 188 of the 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die once I read it! I’m on page 15 & have slipped my copy into my purse.
I’ve finished Pete Rose: My Prison Without Bars with Rick Hill and it was very enlightening. It was published in 2004. I’m on Chapter 25 of Cat In a Hot Pink Pursuit by Carole Nelson Douglas. The weird parallel is that both Pete Rose and Carole Nelson Douglas are deceased and fairly recently too.
We’ll see where I am on the calendar when all those books are done. If it’s October, I’ll read my two books from the monthly challenges and then Jane Slayre. That’s my weird horror book for the @bookriot.bsky.social Read Harder Challenge.
