I wanted to do a vehicle that looked like the body had been pulled from a junkyard with newer parts fitted to make it a racer. I don't know if I quite got there, but I'm pretty pleased with the result.

There is also a particular joy in taking an old scrugly mini and using modern paints and techniques to polish it up beyond what the sculptor probably originally thought possible
