"More frequently" fair, he loves the spotlight. "He does more illegal stuff" yes, but the only difference there is that Trump's criminality is explicitly self serving instead of ideological/imperial.

I am continually baffled by the urge to frame Trump (especially Trump 2) as "new and unique" when he's been this way for 10 years. Why not some bafflement at establishment power that's failed to act?

Honestly, the great crisis of our society is the unwillingness of institutions to inflict consequences.

Impeach the president, fire the sex pests, expel cheating students, excommunicate an unrepentant heretic, prosecute the war criminals.

Believe in your institution enough to enforce its rules.

Disengaged voters WILL be reached by a campaign that energizes their friends and family members though.

Trans rights, ending ICE, and freeing Palestine all got huge cheers at my local No Kings protest. These are mainstream positions for the Democratic electorate. The party needs to fucking catch up.
