I played/watched them both much later in life, but I felt the opposite. FF6 felt like it held up as one of the best stories implemented in the FF series and I loved the characterization. CT, on the other side, was the one told to me as the GOAT and I found little to love outside of character design

I'm usually a bit more vibes over gameplay, but the most satisfying games I played were the Stardew Valley board game and Tidal Blades.

Everything about Tidal Blades speaks to me, from gameplay to aesthetic. Stardew Valley felt like a perfect transfer of the game.

I saw you in one game, didn’t want to intrude, but I looked back and you were GONE. 🤣

Already back home from Magiccon to get back to work, but it was so much fun seeing everyone and jamming ‘some games’

Every event I play one more game of commander, I got in 4 games this weekend, hoping for 5 in Vegas later this year! 😁

I'm taking a short break from TCG-playing to recalibrate, but I want to see how everyone is feeling about MTG Foundations!

What was your prerelease like? Any stand out pulls or plays?

I think that sorta thing happens with most digital card games? Once the meta gets established, people just jam that through for rewards. It's honestly why I was waiting to mess around with the versus mode until another set or two comes out.

I love the design too! I wouldn't want to play Fist just because of how cool it's gonna be to rip off the shield and fight harder

So how are we feeling about Vetreidi's equipment over here?

I feel like the Polearm is interesting, but maybe not better than a 1h Hammer? Six Resources is tough, but in the mid/late game, throwing a 6 with an on-hit without spending cards seems really valuable.
