I still do not understand why things like "targeting civilians with violence is always wrong, no matter who's doing it or the cause" is such a hard sell. Genuinely. What isn't that something everyone at least pretends to agree on?

Hundreds of thousands of people fleeing homes in Lebanon The Israeli army has issued forced displacement orders and hundreds of thousands of people are now on the move this morning. Not just in southern Lebanon, but also here in Beirut. The city’s Dahiyeh suburbs that Israel issued the displacement order for is home to hundreds of thousands of people. People here are packing what they can and making their way to what they believe will be safer areas.

there are a lot of people working in the government right now who want to intentionally trigger an apocalypse to create the conditions for the return of jesus christ and I know how crazy that sounds but its absolutely true
I'm already sick of "It's all a distraction from Epstein" replies. This regime is killing innocent people because our leaders are all power-hungry tyrants and war profiteers. When you say it's "just a distraction" you minimize the gravity of what's happening and the lives lost.
Stop calling everything a distraction.
It's not funny or clever.
It's insulting to people's intelligence.
It minimizes what is actually going on.
It also discounts that some politicians are just evil and stupid.
Sometimes I wish I could slap people through the internet.
Don't expect ICE's crimes and terrorism to end. They're likely not only to continue, but to evolve and adapt for greater evasion of accountability.
