So far, my local Spotlight theater has a few screenings that are looking pretty booked. I should see if I can get my local Cinemark to screen this. It’s a shame my local AMC shut down a few years ago. This also makes me wonder if the show will ever get a Blu-ray release.

At least this time, I didn’t have any problems wearing two sets of glasses. I remember when we saw Star Trek Beyond in 3D the month after I started wearing prescription glasses and that was a nightmare.

Sometimes, it felt like it was actually giving me some minor double vision. Some people say the glasses make the movie seem darker, but I didn’t really notice that issue, probably because this movie’s already pretty bright. I’m honestly surprised 3D screenings are still that common today.

I can’t recall seeing a movie in 3D in nearly a decade, and honestly, the 3D didn’t really do much for me. Yeah, sometimes you can see stuff pop out of the screen and sometimes there’s those in your face moments, but overall, it didn’t really add much memorability to the experience.

Saw the Mario Galaxy movie yesterday morning and out of curiosity, I decided to use the MARIOIN3D promo code on Fandango. I think it might’ve made it cheaper than if I were to just see it in 2D.

Did Nintendo just make a reference to Hotel Mario?
