Urban hiking in #seattle today. Such a warm and sunny winter. The plants are acting like it's spring.

Got to adventure with my new toy this weekend - my first full suspension and also my first carbon fiber bike. After riding hard tails so long it does take some getting used to.

I went hiking in Baker Snoqualmie National Forest - no destination in mind. Here the quiet of the forest surrounding the trail was very peaceful.

The Bogachiel rain forest has a lot of little camping spots tucked away along the river. We set up camp in a beautiful stand of birch trees, surrounded by white bark swaying in the breeze.

Finally pulled the trigger and ordered my first full suspension mountain bike. My nether parts are going to thank me next time I hit the singletrack.

Obviously the Centennial trail. It's great for bike based brewery hopping. They used to have a brewery passport thing too
