It has been hard; I will not lie, STO helps but still not the same, it not having anyone just to talk to. It is not as bad at work, but it is not the same, they talk but once work is over it is back home to silence, the cats and music help most days.

To be honest, no I have not been. Since my wife past in 2024 I have been trying to find a new course in life. Been fighting depression off and on. It has not been easy living alone, after being with someone for 26yrs.

Fun starship, sorry I have not been on much anymore.

Medical Waiver for my eye sight, I don’t remember the exact words but basically unless my eyes were so bad that they normally would not have accept me in the service, but this 1978, they no longer had the draft so it was all volunteer

I have a similar problem with my vision. I’ve been wearing glasses most of my life. Even had to sign a waiver to get into the US Navy.
My lenses actually keep my eyes from crossing and without my glasses on everything as a double blur unless you’re right up against my face almost

I wish you could see you and Jessica. He is big, but he’s such a wimp. The other cats will play with him under the door, but when he gets out of the bedroom, he runs and hides from them even though he’s larger than one of them.
