For a movie featuring cursed swords Zoro is barely in it and the plot doesn’t do nearly enough to convince me Zoro would be doing the things he does in it, but one of the moments I love on its own is Zoro and Sanji have a fight where Zoro actually cuts Sanji and Sanji is noticeably upset by it

The Cursed Holy Sword is a bad movie for a lot of reasons but Zoro is Kinsey 6 gay in it so I still kind of love it

I was going to rant more about the shadow motifs in Yugioh and ancient Egyptian mythology but then I looked up an article and just read how Penumbra coded this bit is 😂😂

Then Yugi and Co. help him get his name and memories back so they can save the world and release his soul to rest.

Then as the story goes on, Yugi and the other Yugi continue to become distinct from one another until they realize that the other Yugi is actually the spirit of a pharaoh, part of whom’s soul was trapped in the puzzle for 3,000 years until Yugi solved it and released him.

LMAO The underlying plot of Yugioh that no one remembers bc 4kids butchered it is that Yugi solves an ancient Egyptian puzzle that gives him another “self” (initially called dark/shadow Yugi) who only comes out to challenge people that threaten Yugi or his loved ones to shadow games that punish them

Tbh it probably doesn’t help that One Piece and Yugioh are already connected in my mind because I watched them both religiously on 4kids as a child
