We need to stop accepting views expressed on Twitter as real opinions. The sooner everyone assumes that the median post on that website is done in bad faith and principally designed to chase clout, the sooner we stop letting these fake controversies take up all the oxygen in the room.

ah, eto... bleh!
That was her whole schtick in Lonetrail, I think you see her setting it up in the epilogue.
I forgot how hard this one was lol. Although I think 9 may have been the only Mega Man where I got fed up and E-tank farmed.
When playing certain games, you gotta ask yourself
Am I enjoying this or am I making ice cubes?
You deserve better than ice cubes.
Why do people unironically defend the live service and gacha aspects of gacha games.
There are some well-written or fun-for-a-time ones out there but outside of "they wouldn't have had the budget/dev cycle time for it otherwise" the live service and gacha aspects are almost exclusively detrimental.
I believe the tradition is to find someone not from Illinois, take a shot in front of them while pretending it's good stuff, and then pour them one and watch their reaction.
Ah, I see you're dealing with "reading Break the Ice and shaking my head the whole time so people know I'm not problematic" energy again.

From Clickhole's "Incredible! We Asked These Astronauts What It’s Like To Be In Space," Barry Wilmore: You never know true beauty until you see Earth from space, or true terror until you hear someone knocking on the space station door from outside. You look through the porthole and see an astronaut, but all your crew is inside and accounted for. You use the comm to ask who it is and he says he’s Ramirez returning from a repair mission, but Ramirez is sitting right next to you in the command module and he’s just as confused as you are. When you tell the guy this over the radio he starts banging on the door louder and harder, begging you to let him in, saying he’s the real Ramirez. Meanwhile, the Ramirez inside with you is pleading to keep the airlock shut. It really puts life on Earth into perspective.

I've compared it to a story about alcoholism where the CEO of PBR keeps kicking in the MC's door every weekend, and when the MC finally stands up for himself and gets a restraining order to end part 1, we only make it a few chapters before he comes home to find the CEO of Budweiser on his couch.
I think he managed to achieve neither the deep intellectual depresso ending NOR the shounen hypebeast ending so there's just universal "wait that's it?" going around.
It failed to close the loop on various subplots and has defenders going "Denji was greedy" when the poor guy barely had any choices.
they finally found out what happened on that island in 1986
