I’m not saying I plan to walk around in a rage about this. I’ve got an actual life. But one could.

I outlined a monograph and wrote almost 2 chapters of it, an article, and pipelined/heavily edited two other articles this year in addition to studying a new language, delivering a range of guest classes and talks, and reviewing/editing many colleagues’ research. But sure, leave is a year “off.” 🙃🥴
