No, it was 'rules are rules' when we were deducted four points two seasons ago because we waited too long to sell Johnson to Spurs. Now, do I think PSR rules are ridiculous? Yes, I do. But thinking a rule is wrong doesn't give you carte blanche to break them with immunity.
What exactly did Forest do, other than ask UEFA to confirm what competition they'd be playing in? It's not as if no one knew about the Palace ownership until Forest suddenly and dramatically revealed this secret owner of 40% of the club no one knew about 🤷
They had a deadline to sort their ownership out and they didn't. I don't understand why this isn't considered incredibly cut and dry. In the same way Forest had a deadline to avoid PSR breaches and they missed it so got a points deduction. Fixing a problem after a deadline isn't good enough.
