I’ve started reading the original Conan stories and they really hold up. You can see the DNA of later fantasy like in Tolkien but also where they diverge. Conan may be a literal muscle-bound, loincloth-clad barbarian but he’s also thoughtful and intelligent and that’s what makes him truly dangerous

I’ve just finished binging the Girls Last Tour manga and it’s one of the most thought provoking, bittersweet things I’ve read in a while. It’s been a hell of a ride and the ending had me tearing right up :’c

Watched Ballerina and I just love this and the other John Wick movies so much. They know they’re a bit silly and weird and lean into it, because what do you mean there’s a scene where a bunch of ballerinas are praying while the protag gets a sick ass back tattoo done in a gloomy chapel? I’m all in!

A fun part about being an artist is being able to put your #OC in cute outfits. A not fun part is spending hours stressing about how much detail to put into the hair and what to do about lighting and background.
