I’ve had my Rivian now for 2 months after previously having a Tesla S since May 2017, & so far I am loving it. I miss the text message app on the Tesla, & the FSD had more overall usage, but the Rivian autopilot equivalent is better & more consistent. The overall interior is way better on Rivian

The UI design is generally not terrible, but not great. We should be able to view the map and music controls on one screen without having to swipe anything. I told Wassym I can fix it, but haven’t heard back yet 🤣

Totally agree. The infotainment system has significant foundational framework issues with its Android layer that constantly struggles with memory management and performance. One would expect this to facilitate fast app development, but all media apps feel like they’re from the early gen “smart” TVs.
