Stolen photos of European influencers used to push Trump propaganda on X | CNN A phony campaign on X backing Trump ahead of the US election is using stolen or manipulated photos of real women in Europe to push its agenda.

In 2024 I investigated many similar accounts that posted very similar types of content, claiming to be ‘Trump supporting women’ from the US, but they were fake accounts using images stolen from European influencers.

The findings were reported here 👇 edition.cnn.com/2024/08/28/e...

Really happy with this in-depth piece in the Dutch National newspaper @nrc.nl. In 2022 we started the European Influencers Academy, to engage with influencers, our students and lecturers, local experts and policymakers to discuss and learn offline from each other about responsible influencing.

#podcast #desinformatie #MeaningfulCommunication

A vibrant and retro-style illustration celebrating the theme "Singin' in the Public Domain." The image features a red umbrella, music notes, a film clapperboard, and scattered books. The Lockette, a yellow dancing padlock with an open lock, symbolizes unlocking creativity, surrounded by colorful streamers and confetti. The title text is bold and playful, with "Singin' in the" above "Public Domain," set on a background of musical staff lines.
