Warm response too!
Yesterday I attended an event at Gurnell Grove community centre. @ealingcouncil.bsky.social team & partners answered questions from local residents about the Gurnell leisure centre plans and next steps now that we have been able to secure planning permission. Great event. Thanks to all involved.
Great to be in Ealing Common this morning, hearing from local residents about any local issues affecting them. #ealinglabour #labourdoorstep 🌹
Incredibly moving Holocaust Memorial Day service today. We must never forget.
Great to be on home turf today #northacton for the Labour #nationalcampaignday talking all things #potholes & other local issues. @rupahuq.bsky.social 🌹
A busy week this week, including the Your Voice Your Town Acton event, the Ealing mosques stakeholder event, the Ealing Race Equality Commission launch, and Labour group Christmas do to name but a few…
I joined the Acton Town team at the ‘Your Voice Your Town’ pop up event at St Mary’s church. We are getting out to where the community is, asking for residents to vote on their local priorities. @ealingcouncil.bsky.social
Good to see this. The previous 26 day turnaround meant many refugees ending up homeless because there wasn’t sufficient time to find accommodation. Hopefully this will ease the pressure. #boroughofsanctuary

Delighted to help launch Ealing’s Creative Sector Forum this morning in Southall. Grateful for all the enthusiasm in the room for this forum which I hope will support our thriving local industry.
RIP John Prescott. In my first job in politics, my desk was right outside his office. He was a towering figure in the Labour movement but always kind and funny to me in those early days.
