Unfortunately, this is not an isolated story. These things are prevalent in a lot of homes. Women really get a very, very unfair shake, even in this country.
Nobody takes it seriously.

My older sister's good friend left an abusive situation w/a toddler. He hunted her down on a hiking trail, killed their child, raped her, shot her, and left them there.
I was 12, they were all 19. It happens way more than people want to think about.

These things really do need to be told, painful as it may be. My condolences to you, and anyone that has had to be even a little bit a part of these things.

My friend was abused by her husband & eventually, finally left him.

He made several credible threats against her, so she went to the police. She said he had a gun & she was afraid of what he would do.

The police did pretty much sweet FA.

He broke into her house, shot her dead, then himself. 😢
