Beautiful job by NBC showing 3 minutes of commercial instead of the Nuggets-Wolves start

This leaves no doubt: Nuggets are winning the title
"Caitlin Clark said earlier that you're her favorite player to watch in the NBA, just curious what your familiarity is with her, if you've kinda kept up with her-"
Jokic: "We have the same agent, that's why she said that"
The ol' Sombor Double Stack
I think Nebraska 74, Vanderbilt 72 might be the best 4/5 in the history of the tournament. Don't care if it's the recency bias in my blood.
That game has me FLOATING.
Every other West contender has been good to great in close games... and then there's the Nuggets
(Would sure be funny if that flipped come playoff time though!)
It's especially frustrating because I still do remember when ESPN really, actually was a serious outlet.
Its journalistic abdication is an underrated part of why sports discourse has degraded so much over the last 10+ years.
It's like watching 3 different games
1. How they allow defenders to guard guards
2. How they allow defenders to guard bigs
3. How they allow defenders to guard Jokic
Quick props to Bluesky for becoming the live sports app btw
Don't you dare Nuggets
baseball has two basic modes:
1. grumpy, slow-paced cotillion
2. drama avalanche where it feels like you’ve been kidnapped but in a way you enjoy for some reason
Oh yeah this is the stuff
Absolutely stacked lineup here

So wait, Miami (Ohio) was the last team in then? Goes against what the committee said on air
Clearly not a good enough one because the team keeps losing
None of those 16 seeds played/won their conference tournaments on Sunday, though. Lehigh was done on Wednesday.
Don't think timing was the issue on this. Just lazy by the committee.
I don't consider myself a truther for either guy (so probably should have phrased differently) but there are some prominent in-game shortcomings for Adelman this year that were simply not very common with Malone.
He def lost the locker room though, you are right about that.
Incredible that this Nuggets season has managed to vindicate BOTH Malone AND Booth truthers
Was their last game not a clutch win
Then a landing zone no-call on THJ and a foul on Spencer uncalled before Ayton gets a touch fall
He was 1-3. Don't have to exaggerate
What's new with these calls

Denver Nuggets status:
We are SO BACK

Rockets weren't good on a B2B but the Nuggets actually took it to them. Cam and CB were in a groove on both ends. Most encouraging game since probably November?
That series was so fun because it basically never felt like they were gonna lose. Even after blowing G2, just dominated in Miami.
While playing basically the whole 4th quarter up 25+ vs. the tanking Wiz
We simply do not respect it
