Yeah; it’s terribly disappointing. It was in a newsletter from Spotswood last year; it’s on Rosen’s Insta. I don’t think either are giving up that easily, but still! I’m annoyed on their behalf.

And of course, Stephen Spotswood’s publisher stopped publishing the equally amazing Pentecost & Parker series (queer NYC post-WW2), and, like, really, I know we can’t have all the nice things, but still.

I did not realize that the publisher had put a pause on @levacrosen.bsky.social’s amazing Evander Mills mid-20th c. queer detective novels, which are so amazingly good (I buy in e- and audio), and … I just can’t rec them highly enough.
