Awww. My dog seems to love the birds. Many come to eat, just not the crows. Or the robins, but I think robins eat worms, which I haven’t put out. My dog is just so damned loud. She has a giant voice and makes it known.

The government shutdown is meaningless political theater, the right cuts taxes on the rich, and runs up a deficit and the national debt, and then when Democrats take power that debt is weaponized against social spending to justify cuts to Medicare, Social Security, Education, Etc
