That's good - the exercise and recovery becomes easier as you lose the weight too.
I started this at the beginning of last year as had gone over the type 2 limit.. once you manage to change your go to food and snacks from unhealthy to healthy the pounds just fall off (with help from the tablets!). You will feel so much better for it though - good luck!

We need a revolution in the way we think rather than a violent one. Take energy as an example.. the current crisis is like switching on a repeat from all the other times it's happened. It's costs the country more each time and will happen again until we have switched to renewables
Agreed - and in politics there will always have to be realistic compromise. But the Green's critics are are more or less saying "it's too difficult so let's not even try" rather than taking on board the sentiment that people want a fairer distribution of wealth
Standard of living, it would be a hard sell to come along and say "actually these 10 people should have 90% of the assets of society and also significant influence over how it's run" they would be rightly laughed out of the room
I always find it useful to imagine how the reaction would be if you reversed the order (e.g. someone presenting a new car with a gear stick when all car had always been automatic). If society was set up with a relatively low gap between bottom and top earners so people could afford a reasonable 1/2
