I'm 64 and I never thought I would see the day when our Constitutional rights would be called left-wing radicalism, our president was a rapist and pedophile, or that SCOTUS and Republicans would conspire to bring about the downfall of democracy.

Here it is. Notice the setup.

Trump is again warning about foreign interference, this time Iran. Meanwhile, plans in his orbit would use interference claims to justify sweeping federal control over elections.

Pay attention.

ICYMI: The US is currently holding three times as many people in immigrant detention as were detained in the Nazi concentration camp system in spring 1939 — six years into the Third Reich, and just before the start of World War II.

James Comer spent every day for 2 years and millions of US taxpayer dollars trying to link Joe Biden to Hunter’s appointment to the Burisma board in 2014, but has zero interest in UAE putting $500 million into Trump’s crypto company then getting advanced AI chips from the US.

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

'Trump Has Already Rigged the 2028 Presidential Election': US Defence Insider Regardless of how people vote, the chances of a Democrat Government coming to power in 2029 is now virtually nil, argues Brynn Tannehill

We are enraged, engaged, & pushing back. But we need to be climbing to the top of the tower & taking in the long view. We can fight battles, but we need to understand the war. We need vision, leadership, an infrastructure & plans. And we will need a lot of courage.

Sen. Kelly: Pete Hegseth is coming after what I earned through my twenty-five years of military service, in violation of my rights as an American, as a retired veteran, and as a United States Senator whose job is to hold him—and this or any administration—accountable. His unconstitutional crusade against me sends a chilling message to every retired member of the military: if you speak out and say something that the President or Secretary of Defense doesn’t like, you will be censured, threatened with demotion, or even prosecuted.

Every servicemember knows military rank is earned, not given. It's earned through the risks you take, the sacrifices you and your family make, the leadership you display, and the respect you earn from the superiors who recommend you for promotion. From the moment I drove through the gates of Naval Air Station Pensacola, to when I was shot at over Iraq and Kuwait, to when I landed Space Shuttle Endeavour on its last mission, I gave everything I had to this country and I earned my rank of Captain, United States Navy.

Now, Pete Hegseth wants our longest-serving military veterans to live with the constant threat that they could be deprived of their rank and pay years or even decades after they leave the military just because he or another Secretary of Defense doesn’t like what they’ve said. That’s not the way things work in the United States of America, and I won’t stand for it.

In 1986, at just 22 years old, I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. I have fulfilled that oath every day since, but I never expected that I would have to defend it against a Secretary of Defense or President. But I’ve never shied away from a fight for our country, and I won’t shy away from this one. Because our freedom of speech, the separation of powers, and due process are not just words on a page, they are bedrock principles of our democracy that has lasted 250 years and will last 250 more as long as patriotic Americans are willing to stand up for…

Hayes: The president was asked should they be sharing evidence—his response was no, because Minnesota's corrupt.

Ellison: I will point out no president that I've ever heard of received a $400 million plane from a foreign country trying to curry favor with him, crypto deals, golf courses.
