It was alright. I really have nothing to add to this one. It was just okay.

45- Holy Matrimony!

It's fucking peak. It's so funny, and it gives the James backstory that was so desperately needed. And the ending was peak too. James has always been one of my favorite characters of Pokemon, so this just really reinforced that belief lol.

44- A Chansey Operation

Good episode! The doctor was a stupidly fun character, even if he was very sus with regards to Misty. The pokemon health shenanigans were good and funny ways to riff on designs. Was just good fun.

ANR: 8.5/10

43- Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon

I think it's so silly that these ancient pokemon were in an underground cave not that far from the surface, and they were just sleeping for over 1000 years. It's funny but also, like, come on. Also Charizard is here now because of a temper tantrum.

42- The Song of Jigglypuff

Ehhhhhhhh. I remember liking Jigglypuff more as a kid, now I just think it's annoying. The rest of the episode was fine, I guess. Idk.

41- The Problem With Paras

It's okay. Team Rocket trying to be the good guys again. It's fun. Team Rocket is the best part of this show, seriously. That's really all I have for this one.

40- THE MARCH OF THE EXEGGUTOR SQUAD

Only 2 things of note in this. 1. Character evolved into an angy teen, and 2. Las Vegas is Canon in the anime universe.

Otherwise this episode kinda sucked. Genuinely did not enjoy it one bit lol.

Path of some parts revenge, to prove her father was a good performer, but also just learning what it means to be a rakugoka, and the many different ways that a single story can exist. It's so fucking good.

It's a non-battle battle shonen with the subject being Rakugo, a Japanese storytelling artform. The main character is a girl who learned the basics by watching her father practice at home, only for him to be expelled from his school of performance during his mastery test. This leads her down the

39- Showdown at Dark City
Easily one of the best filler episodes. Get you a partner who loves you like Pikachu loves Ketchup. Just a funny, silly, charming episode all around. God i love it. Team Rocket took a major back seat, even, and the Kas leader dude has a funny voice. Also Yas Gym 💅

38- Wake Up Snorlax!

Was okay. That's it that's all i got. Was just an okay episode. I like Snorlax as a pokemon a lot. He's a cool funny dude.

37- The Battling Eevee Brothers

Eevee is such a cool Pokemon, man. Mikey has a cute story too, and i like how the evolved brothers match their Pokemon. There were also some game remixes in the background music and I always love when they do that.

Digimon Adventure
Started it late 2025, but I just now finished it so it counts.

Holds up shockingly well. It's a fun ride that treats kid problems seriously. I didn't like it as a kid, even, so the nostalgia blindness is not in effect. Good shit.

Ngl i am mixed on this episode. It's very obvious emotional bait but I gotta admit the Pika on Pika interactions are fun and cute. It's not the worst, but not my favorite.

35- Ditto's Mysterious Mansion

This one had me grinning ear to ear. What a fun episode. Duplika is fun, Ditto was fun, Team Rocket was fun, the imitation of Team Rocket was fantastic. Just a plain good episode.
