I love her work. She is one of the artists that inspired me to get into art as a young kid. I still look at her work in wonder and admiration.

Photo textures are added and removed, warped and repeated to create the effects I want, which invariably creates massive files! From here I then paint on top of the texture layers to refine areas that need tightening or more definition and any areas that need more contrast!

Colour is then added using a gradient map so I can quickly tweak and adjust the colours and then refine with a Colour layer in #Photoshop and an overlay layer as well. And then I start to add in photo textures.

As with all my #DragonArt I start with a very loose and free set of shapes - totally different from my normal mode of working! I let shapes emerge from the page and see where it takes me and from there I work into details. I always work in grayscale first then add colour later.
