Some reason I am thinking about rats and sinking ships
NEW: A horrific new bill introduced by Chip Roy would weaponize immigration law to target "socialism"—defined so loosely as to include even advocacy about economic equality—so that naturalized citizens could be stripped of their citizenship and deported.

Man admits rape and religiously aggravated abuse of Sikh woman whom he also subjected to a tirade of anti-Muslim abuse, wrongly believing her to be of that faith.
It is almost like the Trump administration has no idea what it is doing, beyond enriching itself of course…

this is so profoundly dishonorable

There's no other way to say it: This AP-NORC poll is atrocious for Trump.

Breaking MS NOW:
The Justice Department has begun withdrawing several subpoenas that had just been issued in the criminal probe of former CIA Director John Brennan — revealing the confusion and disorder within the controversial investigation.
So many people from the Christian Nationalist realm. The usual NAR folks, influencers, and those selling merch. But hey, Kevin Sorbo finally got a gig.
God works in mysterious ways :)
I started the day with a to do list. I discovered a rabbit hole.
It is now 330pm. The rabbit hole was deep, but I hope rewarding. We shall see when things arrive :)
Conspiracy, from those who helped to empower Trump, so the trust and parasocial relationships exist. Now tho, the voices that empower have also been spurned by the false prophecies and are seeking revenge and a new hope.
He will also have a new cohort with Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. The voices of the perceived "silent majority" who will share narratives of antisemitism, authoritarianism, and most importantly where a new strongman populist can emerge. A cohesive message of hate, extremism, fear, and
Jones articulates the anger, the fears, and the rising Phoenix of a movement forged in conspiracy, hate, constructed victimhood, left leaderless.
Jones' media will seamlessly continue on May 1, on new platforms. What he will have gained is a new narrative of hate, anger, and victimization
Denigrates Jones, the base thinks, damn Jones must be right if the institutions attack him.
So now we have someone who is a victim to institutions, a hero who has stigmatized knowledge, who too has been left disillusioned by the leader, and someone who provides a sense of control thru "knowledge."
Creating a victim status while simultaneously being the perceived hero, or voice of "truth" strengthens Jones' position.
Trump calling out Jones, as Trump's numbers falter, actually drives some of his disillusioned base to Jones. Trump has seemingly lied or "changed" for his base, when he
We need to add more to this analysis. On live stream yesterday Jones changed the narrative from his wrongdoing, to all of this being an act of revenge by Trump, for Jones' demands and analysis of the Epstein files.
We can't ignore the role of victimhood in these narratives

I have always been a big fan of Tim Cook, and likewise, Steve Jobs, but if Steve was not taken from the Planet Earth so young, and ran the company instead of Tim, the company would have done well, but nowhere near as well as it has under Tim. For me it began with a phone call from Tim at the beginning of my First Term. He had a fairly large problem that only I, as President, could fix. Most people would have paid millions of dollars to a consultant, who I probably would not have known, but who would say that he knew me well. The fees would be paid but the job would not have gotten done. When I got the call I said, wow, it’s Tim Apple (Cook!) calling, how big is that? I was very impressed with myself to have the head of Apple calling to “kiss my ass.” Anyway, he explained his problem, a tough one it was, I felt he was right and got it taken care of, quickly and effectively. That was the beginning of a long and very nice relationship. During my five years as President, Tim would call me, but never too much, and I would help him where I could. Years latter, after 3 or 4 BIG HELPS, I started to say to people, anyone who would listen, that this guy is an amazing manager and leader. He makes these calls to me, I help him out (but not always, because he will, on occasion, be too aggressive in his ask!), and he gets the job done, QUICKLY, without a dime being given to those very expensive (millions of dollars!) consultants around town who sometimes get it done, and sometimes don’t. Anyway, Tim Cook had an AMAZING career, almost incomparable, and will go on and continue to do great work for Apple, and whatever else he chooses to work on. Quite simply, Tim Cook is an incredible guy!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP
Trump has posted about Tim Cook. It is slightly unhinged. Somehow Cook retiring is all about Trump.
1/ Looks like the FBI director is trying to fight to hold onto his job by currying favor with the president after recent revelations about his personal conduct. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
Tim Cook donated $1M to Trump’s inauguration.
He fawned over Trump and gifted him a 24-karat gold plaque (as Apple lobbied for tariff exemptions).
Apple donated to Trump’s White House ballroom.
And it removed ICE tracking apps from its stores following a demand from the DOJ.
Remember this.
good things are possible
I am writing and recording a piece on this. Beyond the surface-level insanity of this man reading the Bible, the real thing that should terrify us is the Bible verses that he read from the White House. More soon.
