A collection of training buses parked at Winchester Depot yesterday. 27561/62/67 all of which I used to drive daily on the 23 in Portsmouth. Oddball 33189, a Dennis Dart with East Lancs Mylennium body and finally tucked away was Dennis Dart SLF 34638.

Not entirely sure off the top of my head, but hopefully sooner rather than later! ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป
We're hoping for the same! The team is working hard behind the scenes. Coolant system has been tested and flushed and any leaks fixed. Currently looking at the oil system and working on that. Not to mention the genny! I also still have the headcode boxes in my garage ๐
*The first to be captured by British or American army's
Tiger 131 was captured on 24 April 1943 in Tunisia. It was the first Tiger 1 tank to be captured intact and sent back to Britain to be studied. It is also (currently) the only Tiger 1 tank in the world capable of running under its own power. There are only 6 original Tiger 1 tanks in existence.
I've seen the Tiger run a couple of times and it always sends a chill up my spine ๐ it's hard not to try and imagine seeing one in battle ๐ฌ
Another vehicle that runs on track, but of a different kind. Tiger day at Bovington Tank Museum today, one of just a couple times a year where they get their celebrity tank up and running ๐ป
08/04/26. Due to a colleague error, I had no relief at Nuneaton. So I had to wait for my return train to arrive so that driver could work the other one forward. This gave me the opportunity to photo both of my trains in the station at the same moment ๐
Day 3 of groundhog day ๐ up with 66780 to Nuneaton and return to Eastleigh with 66503 ๐
2 days running now ๐คฉ I can obviously be trusted with it, it seems ๐คฃ๐คฃ 66780 "athe Cemex Express" before leaving Eastleigh for Trafford Park, with me as far as Nuneaton. Hopefully tomorrow will be the 3rd day in row ๐ค๐ป
I also would like a burger ๐ ๐
Red pen!! ๐๐
GBRf 66780 "The Cemex Express" on hire to Freightliner, working a service to Trafford Park with me as far as Nuneaton ๐คฉ๐คฉ
It would appear that we have GBRf 66780 on loan (don't know for how long) but it's currently working our 4o29 Trafford Park FLT to Southampton Maritime tonight.
I prefer the look of the box on the gangway doors over the one on the secondman side. Looks more aesthetically pleasing
I often look back in fondness

And not been in Birmingham ๐๐
I'd have stayed on the sleeper way beyond Birmingham ๐๐
A stop off at Swindon on my way back from Cardiff this morning. Only expected to get 18420 & 421. But 422 and 447 showed up aswell.
Thank you ๐ only a couple routes left to learn..... but that's for future me haha
๐ that's what I'm talking about
After 3 weeks of route learning, I completed my first solo drive to Wentloog this morning ๐ฌ๐
29th September 2017. Wright bus Streetdeck demonstrator SN64CTU. On loan to First, It never received a fleet number, (nor, I believe) was it ever used in normal public service. I think, I'm the only one to drive it in service (as seen working shuttles for Ageas Bowl). It left the fleet shortly after
Freightliner fugly, 70005 departs platform 16 at Leeds with 6M55, the Hunslet to Tunstead. Nice to see a 70 working through Leeds again, that low down grumble has been missed!

I remember seeing them about. Unfortunately they were after my time on the buses and I never managed to get any photos ๐
A whole load of different bodied Tridents for you @alitrains114.bsky.social ๐
22nd October 2017. The Great South Run is taking place in Portsmouth and I got a shift working one of the shuttle buses. My steed for the day was 32701. Some of the other buses were 32708, 801, 849, 33001, 187.
I had noted all the buses, but the paper was lost to time.
I can't wait to see whatever you manage to capture!! I also had the chance to get 27563 & 68, but I wasn't in the best position
I hope to get them as well
Chichester are still using 18515 I believe, so I may venture out that way at some point
