I won't actually do it as I don't want to enable the AI fuckers, but I wonder what the result would be if I ran my old stuff through an AI checker.

It's always been my opinion that while there are authors who were clearly the best choice to record the audiobooks for their own work - Harlan Ellison was a prime example - they are few and far between. The narrator's performance in the recording is just as important as reading the text correctly.

Depressingly, it's not simply that are there really people like this -- it's that there are millions of them in this country. Worse still, I'm actually related to some of them.

I’ve never applied one patch over top another like this before, however. So, I am still considering whether I want to attempt it or just continuing with remove & replace.
