Balm for the tech souls who need to hear it: It's not you, it's the system.

For one, there's likely a years-of-prior-experience prereq separating slop from quality here. For another, we may be layering on more complexity that we've yet to identify and regret. (typo fix)

Web development is fun again AI tools brought me back to levels of productivity I haven't felt in years. Web development is fun again.

ma.ttias.be/web-developm... and news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4648... match my experience to date.

Not to say AI is a good and proper solve for complexity in software development ... 🧡

Smoky Confit Tomato and Lemon Pasta

🍽️ Loved making and eating this one. The ancho chiles and the lemon zest peels gave it a unique flavor. I went with far less oil (1/2 to 2/3 cup). The sauce was perfectly glossy.

Psychological safety is NOT about lack of disagreement.

Psychological safety REQUIRES:

* disagreement and debate
* setting standards for behavior and performance, and enforcing them
* telling people things they don't want to hear
* courage, from the bottom up
* humility, from the top down

Laid up for the weekend. Upside: making progress on a copy of "Originals" by Adam Grant that someone gifted to me. πŸ“š

Nice to see research backing the sometimes counterintuitive lessons I've learned in my career.

Goes beyond MMWR +other CDC pubs. Applies to research already submitted to top medical journals.

Take a look.

Same. Took a chance on it and it paid off. Definitely more of a weekend vs weeknight recipe because of the cooking time. Prep was relatively simple.
