Casework win! Supported an elderly constituent in securing Reasonable Adjustments within their Bulky Waste Collection; unable to move items to the front of the property. Following this, Broadland District Council have now reviewed how they handle these cases to ensure a more consistent and supportive response in future.

The casework team recently supported a constituent in securing Reasonable Adjustments within their Bulky Waste Collection.
Broadland District Council have now reviewed how they handle these cases in the future - so this can benefit many more local people!
£5,907,291 is coming to Norfolk in order to fund the new Experts at Hand service!
It includes access to professionals like speech and language therapists and occupational therapists.
It all means that more children and young people will be able to access support more easily when they need it.
£237M is being invested to end the postcode lottery of health service provision, by expanding Community Diagnostic Centres like the one in Norwich.
It means more convenient tests and scans, faster diagnoses, and part of creating a better health service for everyone. Read more below 👇

BIG DENTAL NEWS 🦷
25 funded places have been provisionally allocated by the OFS to The University of East Anglia in order to train dentists in our region! It's fantastic news following years of campaigning, and a big step forward to ending the dental desert in Norfolk.

A new dental school at the University of East Anglia is closer than ever before. I'm pleased to see 50 additional dental school places created, and the Ministers steer to the Office for Students to prioritise allocations to dental deserts like ours in Norfolk.
Lloyds Bank on Aylsham Road is the last bank branch in Mile Cross and the surrounding areas. I've heard from many of you about the impact it's closure will have on local people and community groups.

Too many children have been let down by a broken SEND system for far too long but I genuinely believe that has begun to change today as the Govt publishes its SEND reform proposals.

Tackling the dental desert in Norfolk has been a top priority for me since being elected. I'm pleased that there's cross-party support from Norfolk MPs, pushing for dental training in the East of England and working to ensure better dental care in Norwich and across Norfolk.
