SweetPea sometimes has to wear a collar(not pictured)for up to a week while waiting for scabs from her self-picking to heal. She never likes process of putting it on but is always fine after. Today she was being fussy and we were considering waiting until later. 1/2
We had the TV on and happened to be the only channel, CBS Chicago, showing Ryne Sandberg’s funeral. A soloist started on Schubert’s Ave Maria and just then SweetPea calmed down and accepted the collar, saving both herself and us aggravation. Hail Mary, indeed!
This Sweetie sometimes picks herself enough we have to put a collar (not pictured) on her for a week until the her scabs heal. She’s OK once it’s on but doesn’t like having it put on. Today was she was being her usual fussy self making it hard to get the collar on. We had the TV on and it happened to be on the only channel(CBS Chicago) showing Ryne Sandberg’s funeral mass. Just as we were considering to wait until sweetie was less fussy a soloist at the funeral started on Schubert’s Ave Maria. Our bird immediately calmed down and accepted the collar. Hail Mary indeed!

Visited old friends and made one new froggy friend last weekend in Minnesota. The frog was near some planters in front of a business. I found a better spot for them around the side of the building!
