7 regular wins in a row.

But they aren’t good enough yet, apparently.

Dobes … Dobes wins.

That may feel obvious from the outside, to you. From the perspective of American players representing their country, the calculus probably looks different.

You can disagree with a president and still choose to participate in a long-standing ceremonial visit.

That doesn’t automatically make someone “not a good person.”

Examples of these “ridiculous hot takes” that are to troll and make people angry …. ?

1 month ago 1 0 1 0

I don’t think it’s fair to jump from “they laughed in an awkward moment” to “they’re not good people.”

You can dislike the President and still understand why players would treat that moment as ceremonial rather than political.

I’ll take it lol

Only on a good day?

I’m happy to debate the point. Labels don’t move the conversation forward.

It was not to dismiss what women deal with daily.
I also said the joke itself wasn’t funny and was in poor taste. I just don’t think the players acted with malice.

If it came across differently, that’s on me. That wasn’t the point I was trying to make.

I hear you. That wasn’t my intent at all.
When I said “put yourself in their shoes,” I meant the moment they were in, fresh off the ice, emotional, after the greatest moment of their professional careers, in front of their President and people default to laughter often in these situations.

Sorry! Thanks for listening to the show though. I appreciate it.

Not really biggest fan of this platform and I spend too much time in social media as it is!

Adin Hill is the second best goalie in the West.

Buffalo still stinks and it's hard to not feel for their fans. Even if Montreal doesn't make the playoffs, fans can see the light at the end of the tunnel. In Buffalo, it's been all darkness for a long time. New management, new coaches and it's always the same result.

Alex Newhook has quietly been Montreal's most consistent player since December. He's often the most important player on his line. He's probably destined for a third line role when Montreal is ready to compete but with the way they want to build the roster, he'll be a menace in that role.

Lane Hutson... He's not just Montreal's best defenseman, he's becoming the team's best player. The best example of his brilliance was on Montreal's first goal of the game where he wasn't even awarded a point. Just incredible and fun to think about how good he will be in his mid twenties.
