Getting a good grasp on cannon bronze, with Warplock Bronze, Nihilakh Oxide, then drybrushing Balthasar Gold and the faintest Gehenna's Gold.

A gaggle of miniatures - 40k terminators, some dude on a griphon, a horse, some wagon with cannons - on a green cutting mat. All.of them are Zandri Dust primed, just like they have a nice tan going on.
Guess who had perfect summery spring weather yesterday, found some Zandri Dust primer, and noticed that all of his next projects will be mainly in brown colours!

I remember how absolute amazed I was by these covers and just stared at them! Like... the details, the intensity!

Rethinking the head for my general of griphon. I started with a feathered hat (left) because I love them, but it looks silly on a fast moving griphon.

I really dislike this trope. I think the Lion and Russ fought for two days. What where they doing? Dorn beat up Fulgrim in a couple of minutes, said "lol nerd u activated my trap card", and it was epic enough.

Gods in heaven.
An empire general on a slim elven griphon. He carries a lance as a weapon, a feathered hat, and the griphon has some green stuff feathers to make the empire legs fit.
Side view, better look at the remade feathers. They are not perfect, bit homefully blend when painted. The rider wears a pelt across his back.
Other side. More feathers and the rider has the head of a lion (maybe a beastman?) as a shoulder paldron.
After doing a lot of Warhammer #TheOldWorld and now a T'au, I'm thinking about doing something non-GW... but at the same time, my kit-bashed Old World general on (elven) griphon smiles at me from across the bar. Can't decide... maybe some terrain inbetween?

Tau Pathfinder model from the front. His gun is lowered, while he holds a knife in his left hand. He is mid sprint, knife outstretched, as if he was about to attack someone. He does now wear a helmet, so we can see that his left eye is bionic and green. His armor is red, beginning from a dark red on the bottom to a lighter one on top. He walks over small stones in a sea of grass.
Side view of the same model. From this PoV it's visible that his left leg is severed below the knee, replaced by a simple prothestic in the colour of his armour. His jumpsuit is grey.
Back view. The control panel on the back of his armor is connected to his shoulder pad by a simple strip of cloth on which T'au alphabet signs are written. It's just simply the Tau version of 'Aun'.
A sword kit from the game Ghost of Tsushima. It's the kot 'Bishamon's Fortune'. Its scabbard is a dark red, turning to a lighter red. The cloth around it is grey, with a small motif of lighter grey. All in all, it's the same colour as the armor and the jumpsuit of the T'au Pathfinder.
Finished the 4th of my #tenBlades, the Blooded.
Some ideas:
- Orks ate his leg, he survived.
- Not wearing his helmet, he learned that from SMs.
- His Twi'ter bio is "Aun'va is KING! Pathfinder, Father, husband in that order."

The squad just has a tradition, that every member has to create their own holster when joining, taking leather from different worlds wherever they are at the moment... :D That's why it's a different hue!

Picture of a T'au model. It's a pathfinder, in mid-run, with his rifle lowered and a blade stretched out. You can see that he has a protesthic foot instead of the normal T'au hoove. Hoof? You know, his xenos clomper.
Close up of his shoulder pad. It has a slight transition from dark to a lighter red. The sept symbol is black, with light red lines in the inner.

Quick update on the Taal priest for my #Mordheim gang. He has some vine motive on his back cloth. I wanted to originally do it as a tattoo, but... too ripped.
It's based on my own tattoo on my leg! Which is based on German medieval poet knight Hartmann von Aue.

I often think that Elder Races built their gates so huge was because they quickly realized that the emerging race of Man was very, very, very impressed by tall things. And from the first "Whoa :O" onwards, it's really easy to do diplomacy from a position of power. :D
And he's proud of it! :D
A miniature that was once the body of an Empire flagellant. A muscular man, he is wearing a brown robe, carrying a teeth-adorned bronze spear and his left fist is raised, tangled by a freshly bloomimg flower he is just conjuring with his magical/divine abilities. He has dark har, almost black, and a bushy beard. He is barefoot on some gras.
Better view on his magical vone. It 'sprouts' from his back, covered by a leaf. Multiple leaves cover the vine and his arm, ending in a red flower. Around his hips, he is wearing a lighter cloth, adorned with a vine motive. More details on this tomorrow!
Other side of his back. He has a brass piercing in his upper right arm. A green headband adorns his head. And yeah, have a good view on his bare foot, I know you want to see druid feet!

A warrior priest of Taal, for my #Mordheim gang. He calls upon the powers of the Lord of Beasts and his wife Rhya, conjuring plantlife.
In my army, he will either be an Amber or Jade wizard, I think. Reference for cloth motive I will share tomorrow!
