I went straight for building today (I'm really on a building and decorating kick with all my games right now) and landscaped entirely from scratch. I've assigned house placement by resident personality compatibility. I need to be careful before I start making Google Sheets like I do with TS2 😭
The personalities are implemented and actually impact social interactions is incredibly well thought out. The gameplay loop of creating more characters and building to make your island more and more vibrant with each new resident or building is frankly *delicious*.

Been playing Tamodachi Life: Living The Dream a lot over the last few days and I really think it shows what Animal Crossing: New Horizons could have been. It has the quirkiness and fun of GameCube Animal Crossing with a much more intuitive island design interface than AC:NH.
