Since 2nd veto is also usually the last action it allows you to observe them for longer to get any info from reactions etc
Depends on the rule set and MU but 2nds are generally advantageous:
2nd protect gives you a small chance that your opponent might protect a song you want
2nd veto gives you info about what type of charts they don’t want to play but prevents them from knowing the same about you
