Try to eat foods rich in quercetin and bromelain. Also stinging nettle is quite good for allergies. If that's not enough, intermittent fasting also reduces allergic reactions. Make sure you have histamine related allergies and not non-allergic rhinosinusitis.

Bueno talvez solo tengas que cortar en los carbohidratos y azúcares. Eso produce más inflamación 👍

Cut on carbs to starve bacteria and fungus growth. And make sure to replace your microbiome with healthy bacteria. On the other side, try clove oil inhalations.

Use yoghurts with a high concentration of bacteria. Those from the supermarket are not great probiotics. I recommend you to buy some probiotic pills and prepare your own yogurts at home. You can find many tasty recipes 👍

🗓️ Day 1602 with CRS

Starting to smell again without corticosteroids pills for the first time in 5 years.

Three days ago I started to chew cloves and do steam inhalations with clove oil and oregano oil.

Could be that added to everything else and 10 days of Ryaltris spray.

🗓️ Day 1593 with CRS

My allergist prescribed Ryaltris for my nasal polyps.

It's been 4 days that I'm using it, and I feel considerably better.

However this improvement can also be related to other strategies I've been trying.

Do you know this brand?

Good to know! The stinging nettle tea was quite effective for me, but you need to take a good amount of it, and I don't find it often where I live

Have you tried stinging nettle tea?

🗓️ Day 1592 with CRS

Just prepared this bomb! 💣

A juice of turmeric + ginger + cloves + lemon.

Looking forward to seeing how my sinusitis responds after this.

Not feeling so bad today, but still no smell due to nasal polyps.

You don't need a prescription for probiotics, the worst thing it can happen is flatulence and diarrhea if you use a lot of it! I take them to regulate my gut, but lately I found some articles mentioning the sinus microbiome.

I must try indeed! I'm just worried about its antibacterial properties because I've started to add probiotics in my nose with a cotton swab. Do you want to kill them instantly ahah If I see no effects with probiotics I will chew the cloves for sure

Thanks! I never chewed, but I also tried to do nasal irrigations with clove tea and oregano oil, it was not more effective than simply salt.

It's difficult to rest when you have kids 😅 But intermittent fasting is quite effective to have a good night sleep. I can sleep less hours and still feel energetic with CRS (sometimes)

I put them in the tea, do you think they are more effective by chewing?

Fevers usually kill the bacteria in your sinus. But it's shit indeed. Try the keto diet to reduce inflammation and avoid proliferation of bad bacteria.

🗓️ Day 1592 with CRS

If I put probiotics in my nose, should I avoid nasal irrigations to mitigate the rhinosinusitis symptoms?

I wonder if the salt kills the good bacteria.

Wow that never happened to me and I have chronic rhinosinusitis. Try the keto diet to avoid bad bacteria proliferation.

I have non-allergic rhinosinusitis and I can also get an infection. Gladly I'm on a keto diet, which prevents bacteria from starting an infection. Still a lot of mucus anyway

Have you tried the keto diet to prevent infection? It won't stop your sinus congestion and other symptoms, but at least you won't need antibiotics if the infection gets ugly

🗓️ Day 1592 with CRS

I've applied probiotics to my nose with a cotton swab last night and this morning.

I'm feeling better from my sinus congestion.

I can't say that's the main reason, but I will keep you updated. Meanwhile, I'm also taking probiotics for my gut.

Just my hands, but I put some coconut oil because I apply a significant pressure on my head. Also try to find the spots where your mucus is more pronounced. It may take some time to find the right nodes.

A lot of facial massage and constant nasal irrigations

I feel you, I also don't have a smell in that period

I hope you get better, CRS is the worst!

🗓️ Day 1591 with CRS

It's been 4 months since I started the keto diet.

I had significant improvement in the first weeks. But right now I don't see any major differences.

At least my mucus is not green. And I have a lot of it.

Did the keto diet help with your CRS?

🗓️ Day 1591 with CRS

I had a medical appointment with an Allergist.

I did some cutaneous tests, and it seems I have no allergies.

However, I'm significantly worse now during spring 🌻

How is this season treating you?
