Labour announces £700m to improve access to mainstream schools for students with SEND. That’s approx £35,000 per school. It’s not enough and it’s not sustainable. The whole system needs to change. Scrapping high stakes testing and accountability measures would immediately improve access.
This is what happens when you allow the demonisation of asylum seekers.
That such vulnerable people in such desperate need can experience such neglect and abuse is a source of national shame.
