Of course in a few use cases, relying on a very specific and performant database is a differentiation. That will be true for a few AI apps/LLMs too.

Oracle moved up the stack and most of its value today is in the app/services layers. I expect the same move from private LLMs companies.

I've heard the rumor that @bsky.app would delete the account of anyone failing to post their "unique" take on DeepSeek. So here is mine, it's very short.

LLMs today are like databases in the 1990's. Some thought they had a moat because they had Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server... then MySQL arrived.
