my digital circus headcanon is that zooble first arrived to the circus with a much different look and it took a few breakdowns where they ripped everything off and totally redesigned themselves before they found their (barely) less uncomfortable canon design

The quailhogs of the wheatworld are fierce pack hunting predators that, despite any hopes and dreams they may have to the contrary, don't get much bigger than a guinea pig.

Pickling Pelicans evolved to eat hard-shelled animals by slowly digesting them within a gular pouch and spitting out the inedible exoskeleton. Unfortunately, they are also opportunists that will happily "pickle" nearly any creature that fits in their 70 gallon mouth.

yeah, there's some types of wheat they can eat fine ("sweet wheat" is a big part of their diet) but there's a lot of plants they either wouldn't be able to access or eat raw without this kleptoparasitism

The ryerunner, a predatory herbivore from an alien planet covered with wheat. Much of their diet comes from hunting other herbivores in order to steal their stomach contents.
