For this weekβs Silent Sundays post, I have continued working on an investigation that began on Twitter a decade ago.

We have a chance of removing the Online Safety Act!
Any UK residents, PLEASE take the time to fill out the whole form. If we want to remove ID verification on websites that actually don't need it, we need to take action NOW!
(I just tried it on YouTube and no, I don't hear it now. Something about the compression on VHS maybe.)
The X-Men cartoon. When the shuttle is being lifted out of the river in "The Phoenix Saga Part 2", something in the audio mix somehow sounded like my mum calling me from downstairs. I had to pause it and go check a couple of times before figuring it out.
"You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders."

So I gave it a last hug before I sent it to Valhalla, and that's totally normal right
I've been having a clear out, and finally threw away an old duvet that's been in the cupboard for a while.
It was the Covid-era duvet. I kinda felt all Brave Little Toaster about it. This was my sanctuary during those long nights and, admittedly, a lot of days, and at least I was always warm.
whoa cannibalism
On #SupermanDay Iβd like to share why, in these divided and xenophobic times, Zack Snyderβs immigrant-coded Superman perhaps deserves a reappraisal.

This might not translate globally, but for UK people, this is like seeing the Beatles reform
Ariel writes about something that has affected & continues to affect nearly every producer of adult or fetish content. The system calls us "high risk" even if we have impeccable credit and no hint of banking impropriety. Deplatformed & debanked for the "sin" of providing content people want.
Think of how many games where the verb is violence. How many games (including the ones nominated for tonightβs BAFTA awards) where you shoot, fight, kill.
But when games want to explore the topic of violence in a meaningful way, thatβs the issue?
Oh fuck the Blu-Ray is Kino Lorber and it's 4K combo I came
Seriously if you're UK and like queer film or musicals or spider women or bob wigs do go see Kiss of the Spider Woman, it seems like a very limited release and deserved a lot more.
My feelings on pretty much remain the same, but it did move me a lot more on the big screen and was a great experience.
(But it's so much more obvious that there's film grain on the "real" scenes and the Spider Woman scenes look totally digital... I'm sure there was a thought process but... Why???)
So Kiss of the Spider Woman got a 6 months late UK release out of nowhere. Finished work early, went to the only screening of the day. Nobody else there. Only good way to watch a film these days.
Rule number one: if my mutual posts about their niche kink Iβm not into and I see it, I must like the post to give them a good luck charm for their weird kinky adventures. Itβs only right
