this is just my own thoughts on it but a cruiser as a ship with some anti ship capability but primarily an anti-aircraft platform with multiple autocannons and machineguns that can scroll further would be less vulnerable to two hits from torpedoes or turret disable dive bombs than small AA ships 2/2
Personally, I think foxhole (massive multiplayer interwar tech vastly different human history game whose core message is war is bad + not fun, puts emphasis on logistics & medevacing = most players are chill) airplane update was mostly fine, just needed cruisers for effective large ship AA (1 of 2)
