It’s surprisingly pretty good!

The most important thing is to continue to vote with your dollars. Support the SINNERS’s and the WEAPONS’s of the world, and sit out the IP films that you don’t have interest in or don’t get dragged to by your kids. You don’t get bonus points for watching just to weigh in on The Discourse™️
Huge bummer, but Disney has been doing this for over a decade and the silver lining is that the cracks are starting to show. They got a year-end bailout by ZOOTOPIA 2 and AVATAR 3, but even the latter made $1B less than its predecessor, SNOW WHITE tanked, and the MCU isn’t raking in what it used to.
Play ball! On this week’s The Good, The Bad, and The What #podcast, we dive into the mid-90s family baseball movie craze with #TheSandlot (1993), #RookieOfTheYear (1993), and #AngelsInTheOutfield (1994). Don’t be a L7 weenie; give it a listen! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...
Even weirder is that it’s the same studio as his EVIL DEAD film.
Trump/Vance are proof that you can shamelessly rig the federal government, the news media and the entire digital ecosystem in your favor and still be broadly understood as embarrassing losers.
TFW I type in the Nine Inch Noize Coachella set into YouTube and it keeps trying to show me Moby’s set:
Cops can go to hell… and also we discuss three films on that subject on this week’s The Good, The Bad, and The What #podcast with LET US PREY (2015), BASKIN (2016), and THE VOID (2017). Give it a listen! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

Mood. It’s been a rough start.
Hate to be hat in hand, but today I found myself facing a HUGE, unexpected homeownership expense: a $10,000 plumbing bill.
It's a huge financial blow during an already vulnerable time, and I'd be so appreciative of your help. I've started my 1st ever GoFundMe here: www.gofundme.com/f/help-us-re...
I’ve been so puzzled by this choice. He made one okay EVIL DEAD film, but that doesn’t make him an above-the-title draw as if he’s Jordan Peele. Only thing I can think of is if WB can’t just call it THE MUMMY without a cease and desist from Universal.
Yes! I’ve been waiting so long to see a totally original take on The Lee Cronin.
Believable. Despite most of them being not great or even good, the first SUICIDE SQUAD and the Theatrical Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE are the only two I can confidently say are worse than VICE.
On this week’s The Good, The Bad, and The What #podcast, we discuss three Easter-ish horror films with 1972’s NIGHT OF THE LEPUS, 1988’s CRITTERS 2: THE MAIN COURSE, and the 2004 Polonia Brothers joint, PETER ROTTENTAIL. Give it a listen! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...
Was unwillingly subjected to the HARRY POTTER series trailer during a TNT ad break. Setting aside the very obvious reasons you should avoid this, it just looks like a shoestring players version of the original (and already very faithful to the book) film. What are we even doing here?
I am loath to do this, but I need your help. My 20+ year marriage has unexpectedly imploded. There's a kid involved. Aside from Lupus, Autism and a shitty 2009 Mazda, I have nothing. Things are fairly desperate right now, so if you can help out now in any way at all I'd be really grateful ❤️
If I didn’t have kids who are excited to see it, I’d sit it out as I have most Illumination junk.
Stop scrolling and post two characters who bring you happiness.

Happy #LetterboxdFriday! What are your #LastFourWatched?
A late-period Polonia Brothers film as well as one of their earliest for homework purposes, a diminished-returns sequel, and a cult horror-comedy that is stranger than I expected (complimentary).
Been watching only but the finest auteurs this year.
The Lost City of Z
Regrettably I do really like THE OCTAGON, INVASION U.S.A. and CODE OF SILENCE, and gonna leave it at that.
Happy #LetterboxdFriday! What’s YOUR #LastFourWatched?
A fascinating but sleepy possession flick from Mexico, a rock-solid PM Entertainment actioner that played well with a crowd the other night, a Canadian cult classic, and a theater trip with my oldest for the Heroes in a Half-Shell.
we're about 1/3 of the way to our goal. any help, even sharing, that you can give would be wonderful.
