I think it is funny how every time Yooong speaks about how long BTS can keep doing this he makes them older.😂 A few weeks ago he said they could still be together into their 50s and 60s. And now he is saying it can be into their 70s and 80s.😂

I love him so much for saying that. I think it is kind of taboo to admit that there is a part of you that will always be sad. So hearing him say it is a great comfort.

It is so cool. As a non-Korean speaker I am unsure if I the connections I am making are correct. But I enjoy pondering them.😁

I feel like there are so many lyrics that pick up on themes and ideas from other songs in the album and develop them further. Eg “Please” talks about trampling a thorny path for you… “Snooze” from D-Day talks about a thorny path that looks like a flower path. Etc etc.

Question from a non- Korean speaker, is this also referencing ‘Like Animals’? Or at least referring back to a recurring theme of the album? ‘None of us are tameable’

I just rewatched the Netflix concert and found myself awash in tears. Of joy. So happy and proud to be ARMY, knowing what this album and tour means to them and to us.

And the whole vibe of Like Animals. Like. The whole album has this sorrowful, longing, pleading vibe. 🥺🥺🥺 and then on top of that we have ‘Come over’, taking longing and pleading to the max. I love it so much.

And in Swim, Hobi again, “Under here, we don't chase the time
Baby, everything can't be so sad (so sad)
Turn my face from the land
I just wanna dive, I just wanna dive.

Maybe it is just my melancholy mood today but parts of Arirang album feel quite sorrowful and I love that. Eg in Normal, Hobi’s line: “Now I understand the truth, some pain don't heal
If everything's just happy, mm, that ain't real.”

Me too. There is so much to think about and digest in this new album, reflecting on how this relates to their previous work. It deserves to be taken seriously and studied. It is also a very human, emotional and relatable album and I feel honoured to share the experience with them and all of you. 💜
