Yes, I totally agree with you.

Why open it for PC players alone for months? They can’t even clearly say when it will launch for console, despite claiming it’s meant to benefit console players.

Honestly, if they truly cared about console players, the Marketplace should launch for PC and console at the same time. While PC players will be buying CC for months, console players will just have to sit and watch.

I agree. I also think 30% is too low. And if proper quality checks aren’t in place, the responsibility will likely fall on the creators anyway. That’s disappointing.

That said, if it’s going to be an in-game marketplace, thorough review and quality control should be essential. But even their own Kits often ship with issues and don’t always get proper follow-up fixes, so I can’t help but feel pretty skeptical about how well this will be handled.

EA’s Marketplace policy feels pretty lame, but I don’t want to blame creators who join it. If there were official guidelines and creation tools for CC, I’d probably be curious to try it too. Like ZEPETO Studio for ZEPETO. That said, I’m grateful to the creators who choose not to participate.
